GRANDMA/GRANDPA NEEDED- True Tortoise-shell female cat. Poppy is all up to date with her vaccinations and spayed (her vet's record is available for you to see). She is a wonderful pet, however I am looking for the right home for to move into. I won't let her go unless I am absolutely convinced it is the right home. Poppy doesn't like busy houses or other animals. She prefers calm, older children and likes to be stroked gently, but not picked up. She does tolerate belly rubs for a max of 15 seconds. Her ideal companion would be an older lady or gentleman who sits all day, listens to radio 4 and has calm conversations with her about the state of politics. Poppy is vocal and knows many English Language words. She is litter tray trained but prefers to toilet outside. Poppy usually sleeps all day, going outside around teatime and returns home around 6am. She is road safety aware. Living next to a busy main road, she has never had any accidents or got lost. She will also walk on harness but prefers not to. Poppy has a relatively short geographical area that she roams about 0.75 of a km. Poppy can be spicy and will give you a little scratch if you bother her and ignore her tail warnings. Poppy loves old people with soft laps. Poppy dislikes rombustuous children who want to constantly pick her up and chaotic households (hence need for resale). Her favourite food is vanilla frozen yoghurt, egg white omelette and liver sausage. Poppy prefers to sleep on the human-bed during the day, she dislikes cat beds. Daily diet is whiska poultry x2 pouches in jelly OR tendercuts chicken, around 2 or 3 licky sticks (green ones by webbox) and one dsrt spoon of double cream in a 24 hour period. Poppy's mother was a true tortie her father was a Russian Blue. She came from Oxford and was one of a litter of 4. I adore Poppy and will probably cry at you when you come to pick her up- but I think it is for the best as I have an autistic daughter who slings her around and doesn't let her sleep. when grandma visits poppy tries to leave with grandma. Unfortunately, Grandma already has a feline companion.
