8-Year-Old Female German Shepherd – Experienced Home Only
This is a very hard decision, but we’re looking to rehome our 8-year-old female German Shepherd as we can no longer give her the time and consistency she needs and deserves.
She’s a loyal, clever dog who bonds very strongly with her person. Once she trusts you, she’s fully yours. She likes routine, clear boundaries, and knowing what’s expected of her.
She is extremely dog reactive and will need to be the only pet in the home. Because of this, she needs someone experienced and confident with reactive dogs who understands management, patience, and consistency.
Health-wise, she has no known health conditions. She does have some broken and missing teeth, which doesn’t affect her day-to-day life, but it’s something to be aware of.
She’d suit a quieter home best — ideally adults only, or older children who are dog-savvy. She’s not a dog for a busy household or one with lots of visiting dogs.
This isn’t something we’re rushing. Everyone interested will be assessed, and the new owner must be willing to provide regular updates, as getting her into the right home matters more than getting her rehomed quickly. We want this to be her final move.
