She was taken to a kill compound—her life suddenly reduced to paperwork, lists, and a deadline she could not understand. Behind cold bars, Ruby waited quietly. She didn’t cry or fight. She simply watched, confused and frightened, still believing that someone would come for her.
But time was running out.
Ruby was minutes away from being killed when everything changed.
At the very last moment, rescuers stepped in. Orders were stopped. Gates were opened. Ruby was pulled out just before her life was taken. One step later—and she would not be here today. 🤍

If everything is agreed, adoption paperwork will be completed on the day, and you’ll be able to take Ruby home immediately.
