This is a really difficult decision, but I’m looking for a loving, experienced home for my two male rats (both from the same litter.) I got them around 6 months ago, before I became ill. Unfortunately, due to my health condition, I can no longer give them the time, handling and care they deserve. They’re still very well looked after, have regular free-roam time, enrichment and the best care I can give them, but I know they deserve more than I’m able to offer. Their welfare has to come first. They are friendly boys, although they can be a little nippy at the moment due to not being handled as much while I’ve been unwell. With regular handling and patience, I’m sure they’ll continue to gain their confidence. They will come with everything they need. The setup originally cost us well over £400 and includes: • Two male rats • Large 5-tier cage • Rat carrier • Large supply of bedding • Litter and litter tray • Tunnels • Houses and hideaways • Toys and enrichment • Cage accessories (including lots of extras not shown in the photos) • Free-roam play pen • Any other rat supplies I have and water bottles Everything will be thoroughly cleaned before they leave.
