Description
Our darling dog, Millie, has given birth to 5 healthy puppies. They were born on Friday 9th January and are growing well.
- Bailey (boy) – is tan with some faint white markings on his chest
- Croissant (boy) – is tan, with a white marking on his head, and a white tip on the very end of his tale.
- Sonny (boy) – is black with white markings on his chest.
- Lolly (girl) – is tan with the tinniest of white tips on the end of her tail.
- Poppy (girl) – is tan with strong white markings on her chest.
The mother…
Millie is a petite black working cocker spaniel. She lives peacefully alongside our two cats and three chickens. My 6-year-old daughter adores her and Millie is often on the receiving end of some enthusiastic hugs. Millie’s defining characteristic is how calm she is, it is the thing people comment on most. She rarely barks and is quick to learn your expectations. When outside she is a bundle of energy and a joy to watch. She is completely trustworthy with excellent recall.
The father…
Gunner is a petite working cocker spaniel, active as a gun dog. He is full of the energy and joy of a young dog, showing phenomenal natural working ability and excellent obedience when out on shoots. Gunner also has an incredibly affectionate, soft nature and is a pleasure to have within the family home.
Both Millie and Gunner…
…are Kennel club registered, with multiple field trial champions in their blood lines (5 generation pedigree certificates available on request). They have each been extensively health tested, details of which can be provided on request.
Environment…
The puppies are growing up in a household featuring all the typical household sounds. They will have interactions with children of various ages, as well as exposure to our two cats and our three chickens when out in the garden.
Nutrition…
From 5 weeks of gestation Millie was fed Royal Canin Mother and Babydog dry food, with enhanced calcium, phosphorus, protein and omega 3 for healthy bone, muscle, organ, brain and vision development in the puppies. She continues to be fed this diet whilst lactating and, when weaned, this will also be the puppies’ main source of food.
Each puppy will come with a full Puppy Pack which will include:
- Your puppy’s Kennel Club registration details
- Contract of sale
- Microchip information
- Vaccination records and schedule.
- Worming and vet treatment details
- Health screening results for parents
- Insurance details
- Breed-specific care advice
We will also include these transition-easing items:
- A supply of the puppy’s current food
- A souvenir toy from their puppy pen
- Blanket with the scent of mum & littermates
Forever homes…
We are looking for homes that can offer the time, attention, love and care that puppies need. If this will be your first experience of owning a puppy and/or a dog we strongly recommend reading the ‘Are you ready for a dog?’ page on the Kennel Club website (the below web address can be copied into your browser). We feel very passionately about taking the time to train a dog well, so that they are able to have the freedom to run and roam when out and about, with the owner relaxed in the knowledge that they will return when called. The future health and happiness of the puppies is our priority.
