Description
Very sad personal situation means my Male, intact, German shepherd dog, 8yo is in need of a new home. Ideally with large secure garden
Has been an outdoor dog but can be kennelled, shut in a room and has been in the house for hours with no accidents. Does bark at cars, people or dogs walking past the house/garden since that is his job
Has been in cars, bathed, brushed, walked on private land with a collar/lead and to vets but would need an experienced home to learn how to be an indoor dog or walked outside normally since being walked is not something he’s ever experienced. Or continue being an outdoor dog or exercised only by going to enclosed private fields
Good with people when introduced, has been good with other dogs but not met a new dog in a very long time so I would prefer he stayed an only pet in case there were issues there.
Absolutely no children, cats or small animals, is fine with teenagers
A very good dog considering the lack of socialisation or experiences, he loves attention and knows sit, paw, lie down, come, wait and in (to room, crate or bed)
Subject to home checks and meets with him first to make sure he is comfortable
Small homing fee applies of course and must have experience with the breed and/or outdoor dogs/training
