Obi – Loving Male Guinea Pig Looking for the Perfect Forever Home ❤️ This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to write. Obi is *not* being rehomed because he has done anything wrong. He is an absolutely lovely boy, and if circumstances were different, he wouldn't be going anywhere. I took Obi in as an emergency rehome after learning he had been living alone in a tiny pet store cage, and I wanted to give him a better life. After a lot of thought and many tears, I have come to the heartbreaking decision that I cannot give him what he truly deserves: a bonded male companion. Although he lives next to my three female guinea pigs and has daily interaction with them, they cannot live together because he is not neutered, and I believe he deserves the chance to have a proper guinea pig friend. Because of this, I am looking for an exceptional home where he can either: * Be carefully bonded with another friendly male guinea pig, or * Live with female guinea pigs once neutered and fully recovered. About Obi * Friendly and inquisitive. * Used to being handled. * Eats a varied, healthy diet including unlimited hay, high-quality nuggets, and fresh vegetables daily. * Used to regular health checks and nail trims. * Clean, well cared for, and much loved. The Home I'm Looking For This is not first come, first served. The right home is far more important than the price, and I am happy to wait as long as it takes. I will require: * Photos and measurements of the enclosure. * Details of your current guinea pigs. * Information about the diet you feed. * Details of your experience with guinea pigs. * Confirmation that he will never live in a pet shop-style cage. * Confirmation that he will have unlimited hay available at all times. I reserve the right to refuse any home if I don't feel it is the right fit so please don't be offended if I ask lots of questions—Obi means the world to me, and I owe it to him to make sure he gets the best possible future.
