Description
It breaks my heart to write this, but after a lot of thought I am looking for a loving new home for my beautiful pup, Dolly. Due to personal circumstances, I don’t feel it’s fair on her to keep her, and she truly deserves the best care, time, and attention.
I originally found Dolly through Pets4Homes, however unfortunately she came from breeders who were not honest about her background or condition. When I got her, she had been kept in sawdust, was only being fed twice a day, had blood in her stool, and had scabs across her belly. She was in a very poor state, and I couldn’t leave her like that. Despite everything, she was an instant bundle of joy.
Since then, I have nursed her back to full health, and she is now a happy, energetic, and loving little pup. I also carried out a DNA test with a trusted company, which confirmed she is a Toy Cockapoo. I’m happy to share all details and documentation with anyone interested.
Dolly has the sweetest personality! She is incredibly affectionate but also cheeky and full of character. She loves attention and can be quite vocal, so she would be best suited to a home with other dogs of a similar age or energy level to keep her company and engaged.
She is toilet trained, but she can have occasional accidents when she is excited or anxious, so some continued training and patience will be needed, especially while she settles into a new home.
Due to her early start, she has a very sensitive stomach. I currently feed her fresh meals (chicken mince, rice, and dog-friendly vegetables), which works well for her, though she should be able to transition gradually if needed.
This is an incredibly difficult decision, and I only want the absolute best for her. She is my best friend, and I hope she can bring as much love and happiness to her new home as she has to mine.
