Description
We are looking to find a new home for our 17 month old mixed breed girl Freya.
We have her mother (7yr old Staffordshire bull terrier cross Siberian Husky, Piper) and next door neighbours have the father (6yr old 3/4 Border Collie cross 1/4 Kelpie, Loki ) - we also have Freya’s 5yr half sister (same mum, different Dad) you can meet all of them.
Accidental litter which were all homed at around 14 weeks old however Freya was returned to us due to the owner getting a new job with long working hours and no longer having time for Freya.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to keep her permanently ourselves due to various personal reasons, however she is a lovely dog and deserves a good, long term forever home.
Freya can be a bit hyper especially if left alone for a while she has about 30 mins zoomies when you return lol she is very active and preferably needs an active home where she will be walked at least 1-2 times a day.
Freya loves people including children as can see in videos however due to her being hyper it needs to be children above 2yr old and whom are used to playful bouncy dogs, if child is between toddler to 4yrs she may accidentally knock them when running around. My partners 3yr old finds this hilarious and laughs it off but he’s used to it so some toddlers may initially be upset if not used to dogs.
Freya knows commands:
Sit, stay, high five, bed, out, down.
Freya walks well on a lead with a halti and harness (see videos) without halti she can sometimes pull with excitement especially at the start if not walked daily. She still needs further training and would not currently trust recall so can’t be let off if in an open / un-fenced area.
Freya likes to play fetch and with toys.
Freya likes to cuddle up on sofa.
Freya is house trained and only has occasional accidents if left for long periods on time. She goes out around between 10pm to 11pm for last wee’s and then between 7am to 9am for first wee’s.
Freya does occasionally chew the odd thing if left alone for long periods and/or not had enough exercise / stimulation. She is improving with this and as long as not bored for long time should be fine.
Freya currently cannot be left unattended if food in the room, she will take it if left. If eating with her in the room though she will go away and lay down when told sternly. She does not steal from your lap or anything just only if left with food unsupervised.
If trained she would be ideal for agility as she’s so fast and agile.
We have WhatsApp group where everyone with pups from Pipers first and second d litter are all on there, occasionally people share a pic, ask advice, plan optional meet up walks etc so welcome to join that if you wish.
She will come with leads, harness, halti, bowls, blankets, towel, brush, food, treats, poop bags, toys and more. Plus microchip papers etc.
Cannot help with delivery unfortunately.
Price can be slightly negotiable.
