This is Nugget. Nugget is a big cuddly teddy. Approx. 10 months old and desperately wants attention. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Nugget was sold to us as a female, mini lop, who was a sibling of Nifty (available in another advertisement). Nugget, however, is a male, 3.7kg, likely English lop mix, who as far as we can tell, had not met Nifty (also Male) up until we took them home. We have spent 6 months attempting to bond these two gorgeous boys. But. They simply dont wish to be friends. Nugget seems to love human company so long as you are patient. He loves being stroked, even under his chin and on his paws (on his term of course, he is still his own Bunny). However, he doesnt seem to enjoy the company of other bunnys. Though an experienced owner may have more luck, it needs to be accepted he may be a single bun. He has only ever known the indoors, so would not suit an outdoor setup. Nugget is neutered, vaccinated and has been recently given a clean bill of health by a respectable vet. We are happy to share details with a prospective new parent. Any willing takers will have to be serious, experienced or very udnerstanding of the massive undertaking owning a bunny is. While they are wonderful, beautiful creatures, they are expensive, require lots of space, and they do require lots of attention ... except when they want space. We will ask for your experience / understanding of rabbits first. We would not reccomend this gorgeous bunny bear to anyone who hasnt owned bunnys already.
