Description
Hunter has been our life and soul for the past few years, the decision to rehome him hasn’t come lightly. Hunter is the kindest and most purest soul ever. However, he thinks he’s 2kg. We have recently welcomed baby twins into the world and he tries to give them his paw.
The reason for rehoming is that he requires a better life that we can now give. My partner has changed units in the army, meaning I care for two german shepherds and two baby twins every day. Hunter requires a lot of exercise and I cannot get him out as much as he deserves. And he has to be locked away a lot of the day as he isn’t calm around the children. He deserves more/better.
A bit about Hunter. His recall is amazing, his loyalty is unmatched. He does pull on the lead a bit but responds well to correction. Very praise orientated. He usually only pulls when he’s not had much exercise. He currently lives with another German shepherd (female) - he loves her and they wrestle/play all day. Hunter would need to be introduced to another dog correctly and not rushed - he can be a bit reactive and feel threatened. Knowledge on German shepherds is crucial. Seems to be ok with cats, unsure.
Crate trained. Kennel club registered. Full breed German shepherd. Fully intact. Has run marathons. Great travelling companion. Extremely loving, requires lots of attention. People always asking to breed with him due to his rare colouring but I haven’t allowed this as of yet.
Hunter is originally from a reputable breeder in Cyprus (we were living there), we got him at 8 weeks and bought him back to the UK remember 2024
