Description
Sadly selling my dog due to my relationship breaking down and not having the time to care for her as before.
Cruz has a gr at personality and makes me laugh every day. She likes the simple things such as her bed, her food and stealing socks! She doesn't eat them she likes to parade around with them in her mouth.
Cruz was rescued at 11 months old. The breeder had given a puppy to her young daughter (18) and spent most of her days and nights crated. She was in a very bad condition when I rescued her and cost me a pretty penny at the vets to fix it. She had ear mites and had damage to her retina. This luckily didn't affect her sight but it has left a scar on her eye. When I viewed her, this was bright blue where left untreated and looked very sore. Cruz is thriving now, she has gained so much confidence during her time with me and is like a new dog. Unfortunately her first 11 months of life weren't great and has left some scars (metaphorically speaking) that I haven't been able to fix.
Cruz is unable to hold he bladder for more than around 3-4 hours. But she is puppy pads trained and I have taught her to press a button to let me know when she needs to go out. She uses both very well. (She will come with a few pads and a waterproof mat I use for underneath for extra protection for the flooring.
Cruz also has a bit of separation anxiety I think from where she spent the first year of her life alone. If you go to shut a door on her, sometimes she can launch to grab your foot. She is by no means aggressive but this is just something that needs to be remembered and is easily managed. She knows simple commands like "no, stay, outside, and bed".
I'm honestly gutted she is the most loving girl and anyone who meets her falls in love. You just need to know how to manage her, which is why I am being completely honest, as I want to find the right home for her as she deserves it.
Just to outline, I have another Frenchie, and a 2 year old son and she has never attacked either of them, as I say, she just hates being left by her care giver.
