Barney is a 6 year old Spaniel with a sad history :( In December, Barney was going to be euthinised as his previous owners couldn't meet his needs anymore. I stepped in to rescue him through Good and Green Dog training and rescue. Barney is a sweet soul who's will need to stay on pain medication for the rest of his life due to his chronic pain. He loves long gentle walks and lots of opportunities to sniff. He would prefer to be an only dog so he can have all the attention! He is still worried about people touching his back legs where he used to be in pain, so he will need a patient owner who will take the time for him to learn that he is no longer in pain! Barney's ideal home. Someone experienced with spaniels A quiet home with a regular routine No children A secure garden he can sniff in as much as he likes! Someone who is ready to give him the time he will need to get used to a new family 💚
