Description
It is with great sadness that we are looking to rehome our boy - Buddy.
Buddy is a fox red Labrador male, 6 months old and raised in a family with kids.
We do not have pedigree papers unfortunately.
Buddy is a chunky boy, athletic and very cheeky! He has learned to sit and wait for his food, how to leave and how to fetch.
Buddy is house trained and has a brilliant temperament with adults and children alike. He walks well on a lead and has “fairly” good recall.
Unfortunately, due to a change of our work circumstances, and overly challenging training we are unable to give Buddy the time and attention he needs as a great pet.
Buddy is extremely active (more so than normal) so would thrive in a family that are able to exercise him a couple of times of day. He is bouncy too (we have so far been unable to train him on this) and so we wouldn’t recommend a home with smaller children as he may hurt them on accident with his size.
Buddy is a really sweet, soft dog with no viciousness in his body but often his size as a puppy has been an issue in this situation with our kids.
Buddy has a remaining (paid) subscription at a national vet chain and is fully vaccinated and wormed.
We have made this really tough decision as a family and would require any potential new owners to provide proof of his next steps being a friendly home, better suited for his needs.
