Axolotl Hatchlings – UK Bred (Experienced Keepers Only)
Healthy 3-week-old axolotl hatchlings bred and raised at Black Country Dragons.
These hatchlings are reared using controlled tub systems with daily water changes using conditioned water and are fed daily on live baby brine shrimp. Only strong, consistently feeding individuals will be made available.
These hatchlings will be sold to experienced keepers only, or to those able to continue the same daily care routine after collection. Early-stage axolotls require time, consistency, and correct water management.
Details:
• Age: 3 weeks
• Morphs: Wild, leucistic & albino (still developing)
• Feeding: Live baby brine shrimp daily
• Care routine: Individually tubbed with daily water changes
Availability & Deposits:
If you are not currently able to continue daily hatchling care, deposits are being taken for later collection once the babies are more developed and ready to be introduced to tank setups (mid to late March).
Important Information:
Axolotl hatchlings are not suitable for impulse purchases or unprepared setups. Buyers must be able to:
• Perform daily water changes
• Maintain cool, stable temperatures
• Provide appropriate tub or grow-out systems
Buyers will be asked about their experience and setup before any sale is confirmed. Advice is available, but we reserve the right to decline a sale if conditions are not suitable.
