Description
Felix and Daisy are looking for a new home. Felix is a normal grey, semi-ta,e (we will step u[ o to a perch and sit in your shoulder) and was hatched end of July 2019. We’re not sure about his partner, Daisy, who is a pied. We got her I. February 2020 but she has a red leg band which might indicate she was hatched in 2018. Daisy is not tame but will take food from you and step up onto a perch.
The pair are bonded and have raised two clutches of chicks, including some Lutinos. We are unfortunate;y having to rehome them because I am losing my sight and am having to reduce the number of birds I have. Unfortunately, Felix can Lao become territorial when they are nesting and has flown at me and tried to bite me. You will either need to be prepared to deal with this behaviour or consider having the implant for Daisy, which has to be administered by a vet but lasts up to 9 months.
They get along with other birds.
We are happy to jnclude a good sized cage (it’s a Little Friends Hamberly) and feeding bowls but you will need to supply toys and perches.(81cm W x 54 cm deep x 157 cm high
Please note that collection is a must. I do not drive due to my eye condition.
