We are looking for a guardian home for our beautiful red girl. Born in early December, she will be going to her new home 1st February, 2026. If you would like to be considered please do get in touch.
The guardian scheme allows carefully selected (preferably) local families to have a dog that is the very best of the breed, for much less than the usual purchase price of £3000. The cost to become a guardian family is just £1000.00. A guardian girl will come back to us to have her litter, but live with you as her adopted family.
Dogs are chosen for their gentle loving temperaments and tested for genetic and orthopedic health. Must be prepared to be vetted as we are looking for the best owners for our puppies.
Our dogs are tested for many many genetic/orthopedic diseases and you will see the test results when you visit us. Here is a synopsis of some of the diseases we have tested for:
Progressive Retinal Atrophy
Degenerative Myopathy
Narcolepsy
Von Willebrand Disease 1
Exercise Induced Collapse
Hyperuricosuria
Nasal Parakertosis
Elbow Dysplasia
Hip Dysplasia
Puppies are socialised within the family home. We received training on womb to twelve week puppy development and socialisation from a Disney trainer. We know how to give our puppies the best start in life and how to prepare them for their loving homes. Many of our puppies have become therapy dogs due to their mellow temperament and intuitive responses. Medium in size our puppies will grow to weigh between 12kg and 15kg. We do believe that we are a different kind of breeder at Cosmic Rays. We offer lifelong support for you and your new family member.
