This is an incredibly difficult decision, and finding the right home for Oisín is far more important to me than finding one quickly. Oisín is a beautiful one-year-old KC registered miniature smooth-haired Dachshund. He was born and raised in our family home and is an incredibly loving, affectionate little dog. He is absolutely lovely with children and people. He has grown up surrounded by family life, children and other dogs, so he is very used to a busy household, lots of affection and being part of the family. I bred Oisín myself, so I know his complete history and both of his parents. He currently lives as part of our multi-dog household, including with his dad. As Oisín has matured, the dynamic between the two males has changed and there have been some disagreements, particularly around food and resources. For this reason, I believe he would be happier in a home without another intact male dog. This is very different from his temperament with people. He is a loving, sociable and affectionate dog who is wonderful with the children and adults in our home. About Oisín: • One year old • KC registered • Miniature smooth-haired Dachshund • Born and raised in our family home • Lovely with children • Friendly and affectionate with people • Used to living with other dogs • Not neutered • Not available for breeding I am looking for a permanent, loving home where Oisín will genuinely become part of the family. Dachshund experience would be a bonus, but the quality of the home is far more important. I will want to have a proper conversation with anyone interested and know a little about your family, home, working arrangements and any existing pets before arranging a meeting. This is not first come, first served. The right home is what matters. If for any reason his new home does not work out, Oisín must be returned to me rather than sold, passed on or rehomed elsewhere.
