Pros

Excellent affinity with children of all ages, naturally patient and gentle
Powerful swimmers with unique webbed feet and water-resistant coats
Loyal and protective without aggressive tendencies
Low vocalisation; barks only when necessary

Cons

Require daily grooming to manage dense double coats
Prone to separation anxiety if left alone for long periods
High feeding and health care costs due to large size
Not natural watchdogs; limited alertness and protection instincts
