We are delighted to announce the arrival of our beautiful litter of Kennel Club Registered Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppies. Raised in our busy family home alongside our two young children, these puppies are receiving around-the-clock care, ensuring they have the very best start in life. Viewings from 4 weeks (24 July) Meet Mum: Lady Marge of Legowin (Marge) Marge is our much-loved family companion and has the most wonderful temperament. She: * Lives happily with two young children. * Is a qualified PAT (Pets As Therapy) dog, reflecting her outstanding nature and ability to work confidently around people of all ages. * Has been an attentive, loving mother who has cared for her puppies beautifully from day one. Although Marge herself has not undergone formal health testing, both of her parents were health tested, and she comes from carefully bred, health-conscious bloodlines. We actually have Marge’s mum and some of her siblings in the family! Meet Dad: Earl Arnold Arnold is a striking chocolate Labrador with a soft, obedient nature and excellent trainability. He is a superb example of the breed, combining athleticism with a kind and affectionate temperament. Arnold comes from impressive dual-purpose lines: * His sire comes from successful show/Crufts breeding with excellent hip and elbow scores. * His dam comes from established working gun dog lines and excellent health. Although Arnold has not been DNA tested himself, a daughter from one of his previous litters has completed Wisdom Panel Premium testing and was found to be clear of all 263 genetic conditions tested, with no carrier results, providing reassuring information about his offspring. His parents also come from health-tested backgrounds. Health & Breeding: Both Marge and Arnold come from carefully selected lines where health has been a priority for generations. The mating has an excellent Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI): 3.3% which is below the breed average of 6.5%! A lower COI indicates greater genetic diversity within the litter and is considered desirable when planning responsible matings. Raised in Our Home: Our puppies are being raised as part of everyday family life and will become accustomed to: * Young children * Household noises * Daily handling * Visitors * Plenty of play and enrichment * Early socialisation Our goal is to produce confident, friendly puppies that settle easily into family life.
