Cindy is a lab x pointer who has spent a painfully long time waiting for a home- over 6 years! But we're not giving up!
She has been through a lot of heartbreak, after ending up in a pound with her 3 newborn babies who were then taken away from her. She has a lot of reasons not to trust people.
But she has made so much progress, and although still timid with new people, she can learn to trust and now enjoys affection from her human friends and knows basic training (she's very clever!)
She will need an adult only home without children as loud noises can still worry her.
Despite her age Cindy is an active girl who loves toys and being on the go with her canine pals!
She is brilliant with other dogs and really enjoys their company. Being around other dogs also helps bring Cindy out of her shell, so we're looking for a home where she has a doggy friend or two living with her.
Cindy is an excellent athlete and jumper, so high garden fences are a must!
Cindy is looking for a kind and understanding home to help her learn what it's like to be loved as part of a family in a home environment. While we will care for her for as long as she needs, we really hope she gets her happy ending soon!
