Meet Daisy, a stunning 4-year-old working line German Shepherd with excellent training, a fantastic temperament, and an outstanding work ethic. She is a high-drive, intelligent dog who loves to work, play, and engage with her handler.
Daisy has a high prey drive and absolutely loves tug and fetch(especially fast-paced “ADHD fetch”). She thrives when given both physical exercise and mental stimulation, making her ideal for an active home or someone experienced with working breeds.
# Training & Obedience
Daisy is very well trained and responds reliably to the following commands:
* Sit
* Down
* Stay
* Leave
* Watch
* Heel
* Get it
* Up / Through (agility)
She walks beautifully off-lead at heel and is e-collar trained, allowing for safe and enjoyable long off-lead walks.
# Temperament
Daisy is a balanced and well-socialised dog. She is:
* **Crate trained**
* **House trained**
* **Great with other dogs**
* **Friendly with people and children**
She knows when to switch into work mode and when to relax, making her both an excellent working companion and a calm family dog at home.
# Lifestyle
Daisy is not a low-energy dog. She will need:
* Mental stimulation
* Training, enrichment, or a job
* An active owner familiar with working breeds
Two daily walks alone will not be enough to keep her fulfilled.
# Socialisation
She currently lives in a pack of 12 large breed dogs and integrates very well within a multi-dog environment.
# Special Note
Daisy’s best friend is a female Belgian Malinois named Maggie. They have been trained together by Damon for the past two years, know the same commands, and work brilliantly as a team. Ideally, they would go together if the right home presented itself, as they have a very strong bond.
# Reason for Rehoming
We are currently reducing the number of dogs in our care, which is the only reason Daisy is looking for a new home.
