3yr old Silver Bengal male for rehome.
No health issues.
Loved pet.
Trick trained.
Can lead walk - but shy.
Toku had a blocked bladder when he moved house a year ago and had to go to the vet for surgery. Since then he has been bullied by the resident cat, who despite having three XL litter trays to choose from, blocks him from using trays and sometimes attacks him. This has resulted in inappropriate urination, and he deserves a better life.
His urine sample came back clear of crystals.
Toku has lived with other cats his whole life, and can get along well with them, but he does feel anxious when the unneutered male strays spray in the garden. He would do well with a female cat or kitten.
He does not like dogs.
Toku would benefit from someone with bengal experience and who has a catio, or lives rurally away from busy traffic. Garden time is important to Toku, and he loves to feel grass.
He thrives on routine and is better with someone home regularly.
Not suitable for households with young children, but would do well with teens who can respect his personal boundaries and preference for a quiet home.
He is highly food motivated, and will learn tricks for treats. Toku loves a window perch. While he may seem aloof at times, he loves to snuggle up close, and when he settles, he doesn't mind you initiating contact. The closer the better. He loves to nap together, often settling into my side.
