Description
I am unfortunately in the position where I can no longer look after and care for these 2 rabbits as I am moving out of my family home and unable to take them with me.
Benji (Ginger and white) is a handsome and active male rabbit.He is full of personality and incredibly curious about his surroundings, but he does have a "tough guy" exterior that requires an experienced hand. Because Benji is prone to biting and can be territorial, he is not a suitable pet for children or first-time owners. He needs an adults-only environment with someone who understands rabbit body language and is willing to work with him on his manners through patience and trust-building. If you are willing to work with a confident bunny with a lot of character, Benji will make a very rewarding companion.
Louie (harlequin pattern) is a sensitive male rabbit. Unlike his brother, Louie has a very mild temperament and a gentle nature, though he is quite shy when meeting new people. He tends to be startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so he would thrive best in a quiet, predictable household. Louie needs an owner who is happy to let him approach at his own pace. Once he feels safe and secure in his environment, his sweet personality really shines through, making him a lovely and calm companion for a patient family.
They are healthy and happy, but have not yet undergone their neutering procedures or annual Vaccinations.
They are full of character and very active! Their favourite hobby is playing with their stacking/play cups, they love tossing them around and making a bit of a racket. Each rabbit will come with two of their favourite cups to help them settle into their new home.
Please note: This rehoming does not include a cage. They have started chewing at their current one, which suggests they are ready for a much larger setup, such as a large exercise pen or a bunny-proofed room where they have more space to hop and explore.
Please note that Benji and Louie are being re homed separately because they have a history of fighting and can no longer live in the same space. It is in their best interest to go to different homes where they can receive individual attention. When reaching out, please include a bit of information about your experience with rabbits and the type of housing setup you have prepared.
