Description
This is an incredibly difficult post for me to write, but after a lot of thought I’ve made the decision to find a new home for Nova.
Nova is my gorgeous young working Cocker Spaniel. He’s a loving, affectionate, funny little dog who absolutely loves being around people, other dogs and, most of all, having a cuddle.
Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with an ongoing illness and I’m now facing a period of appointments, treatment and an operation. I’ve tried to convince myself that I can manage everything, but I’ve reached the point where I have to be realistic about what the next few months are going to look like.
This isn’t because Nova has done anything wrong. I love him enormously, which is exactly why I want to make the decision based on what’s best for him rather than simply trying to struggle through.
He’s already spent time living with other dogs and absolutely thrived, so I’d particularly love to find him an active home where he’ll have plenty of company, stimulation, walks and adventures. He is still very young, so whoever takes him needs to understand that they’re taking on a puppy who will continue to need training, consistency and time.
I’m not looking to simply give him away or have him gone quickly. Finding the right person or family is far more important to me than speed, and I’ll want to know where he’s going and that it’s somewhere he’ll have a brilliant life.
This is genuinely heartbreaking, so please only get in touch if you’re seriously interested and can offer Nova the home he deserves.
