Six Healthy Male Rats – Loving Forever Home Wanted 🤍
I am looking for a loving, experienced forever home for my six male rats due to changes in my work and time commitments. They are all healthy, friendly and well cared for, and must be rehomed together as a group of six.
Meet the boys 🐀
Chester – Black hooded dumbo, born October 2025. Very placid, cuddly and affectionate. Loves attention and happily snoozes beside you.
Goblin – Chester’s brother, light hooded dumbo with dark ruby eyes. Extremely playful and energetic, loves zooming around, wrestling and being tickled.
Dusty – Grey rex, approximately 1 year old. Clever, quiet and sweet. Gives lovely little kisses and is happiest with his brother Sooty.
Sooty – Black rex, Dusty’s brother. Gentle, calm and slightly shy, but very sweet once comfortable.
Baylock – Large dumbo husky roan, around 2 years old. Very affectionate and confident, loves being handled and is the boss of the group.
Echo – Chocolate-brown dumbo, born approximately February 2026. Small, energetic and incredibly playful. Loves following Baylock around and exploring during free-roam.
They currently live happily together and are very bonded.
Home requirements 🏡
I’m looking for someone who can provide:
* A home for all six boys together
* A large, suitable cage (their current cage can go with them)
* Daily interaction and regular supervised free-roam
* Plenty of enrichment, toys and opportunities to explore
* A balanced diet and proper veterinary care
* Someone with previous rat experience, or excellent knowledge and commitment to their care
* Financial ability to cover routine and unexpected vet bills
* A genuine commitment to treating them as important family pets
I would also like to see photos/videos of your current or previous rat setup and, ideally, a short home-check video before agreeing to the rehoming.
Price & belongings
£60 for all six rats.
Alternatively, £160 including their cage and a large collection of belongings, including hides, hammocks, tunnels, ropes, branches, toys, enrichment and treats.
I am also happy to send their favourite belongings and some treats with them at no extra cost.
Please only enquire if you are able to keep all six together and provide a genuinely loving, long-term home. I care enormously about these boys and want to know they are going somewhere they will be loved and spoiled. Occasional updates/photos would also be greatly appreciated.
