With a very heavy heart, we are looking for a new, experienced forever home for our 5-year-old Black Working Cocker Spaniel, Cece. She is a stunning, intelligent, and energetic girl in great health. This is an incredibly sad decision for our family, made entirely in Cece’s best interest. Since having our toddler, we have found that Cece is not comfortable around young children. Combined with our busy family schedule, we simply cannot give a high-drive working breed the time, lengthy exercise, and mental stimulation she deserves. Exercise & Training: She thrives on long walks, scent work, and mental enrichment games. A quick stroll around the block isn't enough for her. She needs an owner who loves getting outdoors in all weathers and enjoys ongoing training or agility. Ideally someone with experience owning and training Cocker Spaniels. Sleeping & Crate Routine: She is completely crate-trained. She settles reliably and sleeps exclusively in her crate overnight. Health: She is in perfect health with no known medical issues. She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date with her vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments. To make sure her next home is her forever one, we are looking for: An adult-only household (or one with older teenagers) with no young children or plans for them in the near future. An active lifestyle with someone who has the time and energy to meet the physical and mental demands of a working spaniel. Previous experience with Working Cockers or similar high-energy gundog breeds is strongly preferred. A secure garden where she can safely burn off energy and play. We are not in a rush to let her go to just anyone; finding the right match is our top priority. She will come with her crate, bedding, favourite toys, harness/leads, and current food to help her settle in smoothly.
