Hung is a 2-year-old male French Bulldog looking for a loving and experienced new home due to difficulties living with our other dog. Hung is a very affectionate, loving dog who enjoys human company and being close to his family. He is generally obedient at home and can be a lovely companion. Unfortunately, Hung and our other, much larger and very energetic dog are no longer able to live together safely. There have been repeated conflicts between them and, for their safety, we now keep them completely separated. We therefore believe Hung needs a calm home where he can be the only pet. We want to be completely open about his behaviour. Hung can be reactive towards other dogs and has previously growled and bitten/attempted to bite when uncomfortable or overstimulated, including biting at feet. An experienced owner who understands dog behaviour and is prepared to manage this appropriately is therefore essential. Hung is not neutered. He also has a history of digestive problems and suspected IBD, although this has not been formally confirmed. He currently eats normal dog food and canned food, takes no medication, and his stools can sometimes be soft. His veterinary history can be discussed fully with a serious potential new owner. This is an extremely difficult decision for us and we are not looking to simply get rid of him. We want to find Hung the right permanent home where he can be safe, loved and receive plenty of individual attention. Experienced adult home and no other pets preferred. We will ask potential owners about their home, lifestyle and previous dog experience before agreeing to rehome Hung.
