This is Finn. We rehomed Finn from a family member 6 weeks ago. He was rehomed as he was fighting with his brother and it had become not suitable after 5 years of getting worse. This is the reason he can’t go back there unfortunately.
We have 2 small children (5 and 2) whom knew Finn from visiting and he had always been great with them. Since he has come to live with us they have simply become overconfident with him and do not stop chasing him around if he is in the same room as them. Despite this he has always been extremely gentle with them and does nothing other than remove himself from the situation. Finn is not currently enjoying his time at our house and spends almost all of his time where our children are not. As he is an indoor cat this makes his life pretty miserable. Once the children are in bed and Finn is downstairs with us he loves to curl up on the sofa or have a play.
Finn is a 5 year old male ragdoll who has been neutered. He is microchipped. He is not vaccinated/flead/wormed. He is an indoor cat and has been all of his life although in his previous home he had access to a catio which we had intentions to build but have not yet completed. We do have papers for him. If needed he can come with his litter tray, food bowls, water fountain and toys including scratch post.
Finn needs a home which has or is willing to build a catio or a cat proof garden. A home with no young children or other cats and preferably no dogs. Ideally somebody with indoor cat or ragdoll experience would be great.
In our home he can chew the odd plastic toy or paper that is left around.
