Description

Marnie is our female cockapoo. She was born 18/11/21 and so she’s almost 5 years old. We’ve had Marnie since she was a puppy. We’ve always had her along with our other dog Teddy, but over the last year or so it’s become clear that she isn’t a fan of him! She avoids him, can growl a little at him and prefers her own company. She has seemed quite down and I truly believe it’s because she doesn’t like sharing a home with him anymore. It’s heartbreaking but I believe that for her own happiness she has to go to a one dog house hold. She gets along with our cat just fine though! She has a lovely temperament with babies, children and people. I couldn’t ask for a better dog in that sense. However, she does get quite nervous of other dogs and doesn’t go well sharing a home with other dogs. Marnie has been spayed recently (May 2026) in an attempt to bring her back to her old self, but sadly it still appears that sharing her home with our other dog is what’s bothering her. She’s up to date on all worming, flea and vaccinations. She’s been brought up in an incredibly loving home and is used to lots of love attention and cuddles (which she enjoys). She is of course fully toilet trained and can do standard commands like wait sit stay lie down and paw. She has always been off lead since being a pup so her recall is fantastic. She loves a long walk, a good run and lots of fuss. All I would like is for her to have a happy, comfortable and loving home. Again, with no other dogs.
