🤍 A SPECIAL GIRL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🤍 We have a beautiful young girl, not quite two years old, who is looking for that one special person who will make her the only cat in their family and give her a lifetime of love, care and security. 🏡❤️ We are not asking for any money for her. We only ask for a contribution towards the cost of her spay surgery — £100. Unfortunately, when this girl became pregnant, she started experiencing health issues, and her immune system seemed to become significantly weakened. Similar symptoms appeared again during her heat cycles. After carefully considering her wellbeing, we made the decision to have her spayed. She has undergone thorough health testing: * ✅ Genetic testing, with no known inherited genetic conditions identified. * ✅ Heart echocardiogram, confirming normal heart function. * ✅ Bacteriological testing and PCR screening. Unfortunately, her PCR test detected feline calicivirus (FCV). This virus can remain in a cat’s system, and some cats may shed it even when they appear healthy. In her case, we have noticed that symptoms tend to appear during periods of stress or when her immune system seems to be under strain. She has now been spayed, has received treatment for her symptoms and has been isolated from our other cats. We are very happy to say that she is doing extremely well, and her symptoms have resolved. Occasionally, she still has a slightly watery eye, but otherwise she is feeling well. ❤️ Her future home is especially important to us. Because she may continue to shed the virus and could potentially transmit it to other cats, we are looking for a home where she will be the only cat. We want to minimise the risk of transmission and ensure that she can live a happy, comfortable life without unnecessary stress. Personality-wise, she is an absolute sweetheart. She has a very gentle temperament, loves cuddles and adores being close to her human. 🥰 She would be wonderful for someone looking for a loving companion who enjoys affection and being part of everyday family life. We cannot say how she would react to dogs, as we do not have any at home. We would also like her to remain an indoor-only cat, with no free access outdoors, so we can help keep her safe and healthy. We are looking for someone who understands her circumstances, is willing to provide any future care she may need, and will love her unconditionally for the rest of her life. This is not about money.
