Say hello to Gus! He’s a full pedigree Golden retriever (KC registered) who’s looking for a new permanent home. Gus is an amazing boy, but unfortunately we can no longer meet his needs, he’s got so much energy and due to our lives having changed recently we can’t give him the time and energy he deserves.
Gus currently lives in a home with another golden (Girl) who will be staying, as she’s a totally different temperament and doesn’t need as much time as Gus. He lives with our two young teenagers and cats also, so is use to a busy household. He is fully crate trained and does like to sleep in his crate at night, he’s just over 3 years old and eats dry & wet food. Gus has an amazing personality and is very loving, but needs a family who can spend most of the day with him, not a family who are out most of the day. It would be even better if he could join another dog, as he’s always had his adoptive sister with him and it’s important he’s comfortable.
We will not let Gus go to just anyone and will only consider families that we feel 100% confident with. We will not consider anyone who works full time.
We are looking for a fee of £450 to adopt Gus, this isn’t us trying to make money or anything like that, it’s to ensure that he’s going to a good home and someone who’s serious about adoption. Gus will come with all his KC paperwork and transfer of ownership will be given.
We will be encouraging some meet ups first, walks etc to help us make the best decision for Gus. This will be in a location of our choosing near our home.
