Gorgeous, Loving & Family-Friendly Puppy Looking for His Forever Home
About Ralphy
Ralphy is an absolute dream of a puppy who came to us at 8 weeks old. He is a loyal, loving, attentive, and all-round cheery boy with the waggiest tail you will ever see (it practically goes in a helicopter motion when he’s excited!). He is a big softy at heart who adores a cuddle, loves jumping up to nestle his head into your neck, and lives for upside-down belly rubs in the evening before sleeping through the night.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Ralphy. He is dearly loved, but due to the demands of homeschooling young children, we are struggling to give him and the family the full attention everyone deserves. Because he is still so young, he is incredibly adaptable and ready to slot into his next loving home.
Key Information:
• Health: Fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and wormed.
• Diet: Successfully transitioned to Birmingham Raw Complete food, eating 445g daily split over 3 meals. Note: We avoid chicken as part of his raw diet.
• Sleeping: Currently sleeps upstairs (originally in a crate by the bed), but could easily transition to sleeping downstairs in a few days.
Behavior & Social Skills
• With People: Brilliant with children and loves running around with them, though he can naturally get a little over-excited during playtime. He loves adult company and tends to be a bit calmer when it’s just adults. With Other Dogs: Out and about, his social skills are second to none. He walks over cautiously, sits politely while other dogs approach, and loves to play (though he can occasionally be a little shy or nervous at first). Please note: We cannot comment on how he would settle living full-time with other dogs or cats.Training & Routine
• Commands: Ralphy completed a 6-week puppy course and knows how to sit, stay, leave, and paw. He is still a cheeky puppy and needs these reinforced—he responds best when tempted by cheese!Walks: He has one 30–40 minute walk a day. We usually take him off-lead in the forest to practice his recall. He never goes out of sight and always comes back, but he can take his time, so a lead is recommended if you aren't in a secure area.
• Company: He is used to having someone around for the majority of the day as I work from home. He is currently only left alone for a maximum of an hour at a time, so his next family will need to build up his alone time gradually if needed.
If you can offer this gorgeous boy a loving, attentive home where he will get the cuddles and time he deserves, please get in touch.
