We are looking for a loving new home for our beloved Basset Hound, who is KC registered. He is 4 years old and neutered. This is an incredibly painful decision for us, but due to our mother’s illness, we have no choice but to make this difficult decision. We have certain expectations for the home we are looking for. Ideally, we would love to find a retired couple or someone who works from home, enjoys peaceful walks, and has plenty of time to give him cuddles, love, and affection. We are looking for someone who will give him their heart and, of course, plenty of access to their laps and a comfortable sofa to snuggle up on! We are looking for a home with no other pets, preferably with a garden. A video call would be very welcome. Before he moves to his new home, we would also like to arrange several visits so that both he and his new family can get to know each other gradually, alternating visits between our homes. Our priority is to find him a loving, caring home where he will be cherished and well looked after for the rest of his life.
