Description
This is Benji. He’s a 4-year-old male Border Collie, not neutered, originally brought from a working farm in Wales where both parents were seen (pure Border Collies).
Benji is a classic collie – incredibly intelligent, loyal, and bursting with energy. He thrives on love, attention, and stimulation and would be best suited to someone with an active lifestyle who has the time to give him long walks, play, and mental enrichment.
He is:
• Excellent off the lead with great recall
• Ball-obsessed (tennis balls are his absolute favourite!)
• Happy to play fetch all day if you let him
• Affectionate and eager to please
The reason for rehoming is not taken lightly. I am currently pregnant, we have a 2-year-old, and my partner now works away a lot. Unfortunately, we no longer have the time Benji truly needs and deserves. Because of this lack of stimulation, we’ve noticed some boredom-related behaviour, such as occasional urinating in the kitchen. With the right routine, exercise, and attention, we genuinely believe this would improve.
Benji is not a “low-effort” dog — he needs commitment, time, and engagement — but in the right home he will be an incredible companion. We want to be completely honest so he can find a home where he will truly thrive.
