Description

Snoop is a 5 year old lilac tri English Bulldog and he’s been with us since a puppy, bought directly from the breeder in Cosham. He has never been ill apart from a bit of congestion when he was a tiny pup, and he’s had his cherry eye op done in both eyes. He was my son’s dog, who has moved out and moved into a flat with his girlfriend, but he hasn’t taken his dog with him as the girlfriend is allergic to dogs. Sadly it puts me in a difficult position as I’m leaving the Country to go and live in Dubai soon, and the extreme temperatures out there are dangerous for dogs such as bulldogs. It isn’t fair to even consider taking him out there and he needs a new home. He was vaccinated mid Nov so he’s ready for his forever home. He’s the 4th bulldog we’ve had in the family but the first male, all the others were female. He’s castrated and microchipped. The drawback with Snoop is that he needs somebody who can handle his ‘play’. When he gets very excited he ‘play bites’ and we have been managing this with vibrating collars and a bottle of water from a spray bottle. He does not break the skin but can bruise and he therefore needs to go to a home where there are no young kids living at or coming to the home, and where he has the most attention because of this. It should also be noted that steals food at any given opportunity even if he’s already been fed and he is possessive with toys around other dogs, so ideally he should no be homed with another dog. I have already had him be returned to me once after re homing him before Christmas, so we need him to be at the right home this time especially as time is of the essence. I am looking for Snoop to be rehomed as quickly as possible.
