Description
We sadly have to rehome our Doberman. He is a beautiful dog with no bad bone in his body. He knows sit, down, leave it, stay and goes outside to the toilet when we say toilet. He is crate trained as well. Regards to his recall, it is very temperamental which is why we only let him off leash in secure areas. He will bark at other dogs however it’s because he just wants to play. We have our friends' dog round often and they love playing together. He is also great with children. He had an operation on his eye a couple weeks ago due to phpv causing a cataract. This is very common in dobermans and has now been corrected. His eye specialist has said the other eye is not affected at all. It is healing very well but his new family will have to keep in mind he will need eye drops twice a day and he will also need an appointment at an eye specialist every 6 months to monitor his progress. He is truly an amazing dog and will be a fantastic companion. We love him dearly and wish we could keep him but due to a baby on the way and us both working full time we think he’ll be best with someone who can give him more time and attention. He is so friendly with everyone he meets. We just want the best home for him.
