Description
We sadly have to rehome our Doberman. He is a beautiful dog with no bad bone in his body. We rehomed him from this app and were not told he hadn't had any training nor any socialisation with dogs outside of the household. We have begun his training so he now knows sit, down, leave it, stay and goes outside to the toilet when we say toilet. He is crate trained as well. Regards to his recall, it is very temperamental which is why we only let him off leash in secure fields we rent out. He will bark at other dogs however when they get close he just wants to play. We have our friends' dog round often and they love playing together.
He is also great with children. He hasn't been tested with cats. He also had an operation on his eye a couple weeks ago due to phpv causing a cataract. This has now been corrected and it healing very well but his new family will have to keep in mind he will need eye drops twice a day for the rest of his life. He will also need an appointment at an eye specialist every 6 months to monitor his progress.
