Description
As a result of a failed suprelorin implant, I have a litter of 5 kits looking for a new home.
Please be aware that these are ferret mixed with European polecat so they are going to be confident and will need lots of handling from a young age. They are 8 weeks old on the 3rd July and are weaned onto a mix of raw meat and high protein kitten kibble. Ideally they will be on 100% raw but I have added kibble in to keep flies down.
I have:
One Jill who has thrown to the European polecat side and will be big and strong- her head is very big so she is going to be a chunk!
One hob who has also thrown to the European polecat side of things and will be huge. My last mix like him was nearly 2 kilos in the Winter and about 1.6kg in the Summer.
One dark/ silver mitt jill. Most likely will be standard ferret size. Lovely markings and she is the clown of the litter.
One silver Jill but I think she will turn into a black eyed white as she matures as she only has a bit of silver on her. She is confident and always the first into the food bowl, pushing everyone else out of the way.
One teeny, tiny hob who has thrown to the micro ferret in his lineage and is going to be very small and fine.
Prior knowledge of keeping ferrets is essential and I will want to see photos of your set up/ proposed set up. Ferrets are considered exotic animals and have a complex anatomy and reproductive cycle which an owner needs to be aware of before committing to owning them.
They’re all eating well and will be wormed before they are rehomed. They have been well handled, too!
This was not a planned litter, but they have been looked after immaculately and their pricing reflects that. I am also going to get them vet checked before they go to their new homes to ensure I can provide their confirmation of health check to a new owner.
I am going to get the mother neutered and she will also be available to adopt for a small fee. She is a wild thing and not for an inexperienced owner. If a prospective owner would like to take her on, I would give her for free as long as she was not bred from again.
Any questions I’m more than happy to ask and if these are your first ferrets I’m happy to advise. Part of their adoption fee will also be donated to the Cambridge Ferret Welfare and Rescue Society, which is a club I have been a part of for years.
Any further info- get in touch :)
