Description
Sadly, I am looking for a new home for my beautiful Italian Greyhound puppy, born 15/05/2026.
This is a very difficult decision, as she is a genuinely lovely puppy. I bought her as a companion for my older Goldendoodle, but unfortunately they have not bonded as hoped.
My older dog is also very much a Velcro dog and has become jealous, and despite trying different training and introduction methods, the puppy’s bouncy, playful nature is proving too much for her. They currently need to be separated when they are not being closely supervised, which isn't the life I wanted for either dog.
The puppy herself is extremely friendly, affectionate and loving. She enjoys being around people and is a happy, confident little girl. She is happy to go outside into the garden, even in colder weather, and is making good progress with her toilet training, although she is not yet fully house trained, as expected for her age.
She is also very good overnight and is happy to sleep on her own in a room. She can be left for a few hours without any problems. She is still a puppy and therefore needs someone who has the time and patience to continue with her training, particularly lead walking, which she is still learning.
Details:
* Italian Greyhound
* Born: 15/05/2026
* KC registered
* Fully vaccinated
* Worming up to date
* Flea treatment up to date
* Very loving and people-friendly
* Happy sleeping independently overnight
* Can be left for a few hours
* Enjoys the garden
* Toilet training progressing
* Lead training still required
I am looking for a loving, committed home where she will be treated as part of the family and where someone has the time to continue her training and give her plenty of companionship.
This is a very genuine and difficult rehoming decision. She is a wonderful puppy and I want to find the right home for her rather than keep her in a situation where she and my older dog have to be constantly separated.
Please message with some information about yourself, your home, who lives with you and the sort of life you can offer her. A suitable home is much more important to me than a quick sale.
