Description
Erin, female. Roughly 4 years old. Spayed, flead and wormed recently
Erin is a beautiful cat desperate for a loving home that can dedicate time to her. She is half maincoon with a lovely long mane of thick fur.
Erin was recently tried at a new home but was returned to us after she became nasty towards the lady. Thankfully the lady looked a lot worse than it was. But it was enough to scare them and so erin was returned to us again as understandable they were scared Erin may hurt another person.
So please, I beg that you dont jump into this decision quickly and take the time to ask the questions, come and meet her a few times before just taking her.
Erin has visited the vets and it has been suggested that she has FHS, I will include a link at the end. This means she will need lots of time and allow her to come to you.
FHS will mean vets bills, time, tests, and money and so someone that has this available to get to the very root cause is the ideal hooman for Erin. She has a lot of fur regrowth issues due to FHS and so currently looks like she has a gillet and fur boots. When her bald spots are touched she becomes triggered and will give off plenty of warning before just lashing out. So it is imperative that she is only touched when she has her longer fur.
When Erin isnt triggered she is a very living and affectionate cat. Wanting to be close to her person all the time. She loves to play with toys, lazers, even a piece of litter will entertain her for what feels like hours.
She eats dry food, twice a day. Erin being a long furred cat is prone to throwing up the odd fur ball but a simple paste and good brush can help this. When brushing though please know you have to be especially careful not to brush where she has no fur also.
