Mac and Dee will be welcoming their second litter of puppies in the middle of September 2025 which dictates pups will be ready to join their forever homes in December.
Both Mac and Dee are first generation Shihpoo's making their pups second generation. They are fully vaccinated, regularly treated for worms and fleas, visit the vets as required and are in good health. They are our family pets and are great company. Mac spends most of his time on his back waiting for a tummy rub, while Dee is definitely the diva of the pairing and keeps him in check. They are both fabulous company and one of their last litter is working as a emotional therapy dog, given their cuddly nature and loyal temperament.
Shihpoos are a great breed and a mix of both poodle and shih-tzu which makes their fur hypoallergenic and they don't shed. Mac is primarily black in colour with a white chest and Dee is white and grey with some light brown strands around her face. We've included pictures of both parents and some members of their last litter to give some indication of what their new additions are likely to look like and will update the post when they make their appearance.
Puppies will be ready to leave when 9/10 weeks of age (date to be confirmed when they arrive). All puppies will leave with their first injections, microchip and vet health check. We also provide a care bag which includes toys and a blanket with the scent of parents and the litter to help them transition and settle. Payment will be taken via pet payment through Pets 4 Homes thereby offering financial security and access to a range of benefits including free pet insurance.
Having a pet of any description is a huge, long term commitment so please do get in touch if we can answer any questions about the breed, parents and future care. Similarly, if youd like to visit Mac and Dee and see the litter for yourself when they arrive then we'd love to see you as we want every family to feel confident they have made the right match. Our last litter all went to amazing family homes so please forgive us if we also ask you to tell us a little about yourselves. Our dogs are important members of our family and we are keen to find homes that are just as crazy about their pets as we are.
