Meet Cosmo, my beautiful hand-reared African Grey 🩶
Cosmo is a friendly, affectionate boy who absolutely loves head scratches and being around people. Being hand-reared, he’s confident and enjoys interaction, attention, and spending time out of his cage.
He has a stunning and rare feature — gorgeous red striped feathers underneath his wings that really make him stand out. He’s also starting to find his voice and is already learning to say “tickle,” which is adorable to hear!
Like all African Greys, Cosmo has a clever and cheeky side. He’s very intelligent and knows what he likes! Occasionally, he may try to nibble or put up a little protest when it’s time to go back into his cage — this is typical parrot behaviour and just part of his big personality. With patience and consistency, he responds well and continues to build trust.
