Description
This is Fig, and he is looking for his loving, permanent home. He is healthy, and ready for a fresh start with the right owner.
It’s very important to me that Fig goes to a 5-star home where he will be properly cared for and loved. Because of this, there is will an adoption form to fill, ensuring we know what care is provided. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have, to ensure he is going to a home that understands and is prepared for his needs.
There is a £20 adoption fee. As being an unregistered charity, this helps cover his care and enables me to continue rescuing and supporting more animals in need.
Fig is a petit boy and is quite the curious and energetic boy. Although he can still be a bit timid with handling, he will still come to you to see what you are doing and if you have some treats to give.
As part of responsible hamster care, it is essential he has a dedicated play area space provided each day. This could be a secure playpen filled with new items for him to investigate, or a fully hamster-proofed room where she can safely roam without risk of getting stuck or lost.
To be considered for adoption, you must already have a suitable setup in place that meets all the essential care requirements for hamsters. Hamsters are solitary animals and must be provided with an appropriately sized enclosure of a minimum of 100cm x 50cm x 50cm.
