We are looking for a responsible and experienced home for our female Alaskan Malamute, Akira. This has been a very difficult decision for us, but due to family changes and limited space we want to find a home that can give her the time and environment she deserves.

Friendly with people
Lives peacefully with our cat
Can show dominance with other dogs if challenged
Used to a raw diet
Had her puppy vaccinations but no annual boosters
Healthy and active
Akira is a high-energy working breed, so she needs plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and an owner who understands large northern breeds.
Ideal home
Experience with large or strong-willed breeds
Time for daily exercise and companionship
Ideally a home with a secure garden
Someone willing to work patiently with mild separation anxiety
