Zeus – 3-Year-Old Working Line Labrador Retriever – Looking for the Right Home
Zeus is a 3-year-old working line Labrador Retriever looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He was originally brought on with the intention of progressing into detection work, however while he has strong ball drive, he lacks the natural hunt drive required for that role.
This doesn’t take away from the fact that he is a capable, trainable, and well-balanced dog in the right environment.
About Zeus:
* 3 years old

* Obedient and responsive
* Good temperament, steady and level-headed
* Used to structure and routine
Training & Behaviour:
Zeus has a solid foundation in obedience and is used to being handled. He enjoys working for a reward (especially a ball) and engages well with his handler. He would suit someone who wants an active dog to train, work, or simply enjoy an outdoors lifestyle with.
He is not suited for detection work due to a lack of natural hunt drive, so homes specifically wanting a detection prospect would not be suitable.
Ideal Home:
Zeus would thrive in:
* An active home
* Someone experienced with working breeds (preferred but not essential if the right mindset is there)
* A home where he will get both mental and physical stimulation
* Potentially suited to gundog work, general obedience, or an active companion role
Reason for Rehoming:
Zeus is being rehomed as he wasn’t suitable for the specific working role he was intended for. This decision has been made to ensure he can go somewhere he is better suited and can thrive.
