It absolutely breaks our hearts to be writing this, but due to our daughter being diagnosed with a dog allergy that is making her unwell, we have no choice but to find a new home for our beautiful girl, Honey.
Honey will be 2 years old in June. She is fully vaccinated, regularly flea and worm treated, and is house and toilet trained. She can be left on her own for periods of time and settles well at home.
She is a typical young Cocker Spaniel — full of life, very bouncy, playful, and full of character. She loves attention, cuddles, and being around people, especially children. She absolutely loves running free in enclosed dog fields where she can burn off her energy and have the best time.
Honey is good with other dogs, although she can be a bit over-excited at first and will bark when she sees dogs while out on the lead. She does calm down once she’s familiar. On walks she can get very excited and pulls on the lead, so she would benefit from someone willing to continue her lead training.
She can be cautious around new men and will bark, especially if they are wearing a cap, but with reassurance she settles. She loves her toys (although she does tend to destroy them!) and sometimes hides them in the garden. She loves her food, but cannot be given human food as it upsets her tummy.
Honey can be hyper at times but also enjoys calm time and cuddles. She is a very loving, loyal dog who deserves a home where she can get the time, exercise, and attention she needs.
This decision has not been made lightly — she is like our baby — so we are looking for the very best home for her where she will be loved as much as she is now.
Please only get in touch if you are serious and can offer Honey a caring, active home.
