Description
Very sad sale of our 8month old lurcher girl, Lulu. She is absolutely full of beans and is always on the go.
Her mother was a working dog (greyhoundxcolliexdeerhound) her father (salukixwhippet).
We have had Lulu since 6weeks old and she is used to all household noises, house trained and crate trained. She is up to date with worm/flea and jabs. She is microchipped.
Lulu is a great little character who has no spacial awareness. If your on the sofa she will want to be right up snuggled with you or under your bed duvet.
Lulu is typical lurcher so her listening is selective especially when she sees something she wishes to chase but on the whole her recall is good. She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, bed etc.
She has been raised around children from 3yrs old up to teenagers.
Lulu has become quite a dominant dog and doesnt like to submit. She isnt dog aggressive or people aggressive but she likes to be boss of everything, which has become a big issue within our house and when out walking her. She has become quite bolshy around my toddler and pushing boundries. Due to this i wouldnt say for her to be housed with little little children as she will easily knock them down when shes excited and running around.
She walks on an off lead well but is learning her heel position as she thinks everyone wants to say hi to her.
Lulu has ALOT of energy and i feel she needs more then what we can offer. I think she would benefit from a more active household with someone around alot more of the day to give her the time she requires.
She loves nothing more then chasing her balls or playing with her toys in the garden which she will do for hours. She is very fit with alot of endurance, she easily runs a 5k with me frequently and still has some in the tank :) but then comes home and becomes a couch potato for a few hours!.
She is fine around horses but she is not cat or other animal tested but with some training as shes young im sure she will be fine.
She is currently housed with our 2yr old greyhound however she is a bit of a bully as the greyhound is too sweet to put Lulu in her place. So if she is going to be with another dog, they would need to be confident and not accept Lulus bullying ways.
Lulu is very bouncy, her jump is incredible!
She does jump up at people with excitement and will jump into your arms for a cuddle. She is incredibly sweet and just loves to be loved but needs a knowledgable home for Lurcher breeds and their needs.
Lulu is used to being left for a number of hours a day due to shift work.
Heartbreaking sale as had her since tiny but it is what is best for her and our family

Right forever home is most important thing.
She will come with all her things-crate, bed, collar, lead etc
