Description
Hello lovely humans,
My name is Montana and I live in beautiful North Yorkshire, running across the fells, splashing through the becks and generally being what my human mama calls the “beating heart of her home.”
And now something very exciting is happening…
My scan has confirmed it – I’m expecting puppies!
Our little mini Australian double doodle beans are expected around 7 April and will be ready to join their families early June.
So the big question is… who’s ready for a doodle adventure?
ABOUT ME
I’m an Australian Double Doodle, meaning my lineage includes the wonderful trio that helped create the Australian Labradoodle temperament:
Golden Retriever
Labrador Retriever
Poodle
All originally KC registered foundation dogs, thoughtfully bred over generations to create affectionate, intelligent and family-loving companions.
My family tree includes wonderful Australian Labradoodle lines such as @ Northcroftdoodles, including Rodger and the well known Yogi.
My mum Bailey – fondly known as “Mama Bear” – comes from equally lovely lines including Otis, who was imported from the United States. That’s actually where my name Montana comes from.
Mama Bear is my human mama’s rock.
HANDSOME PAPA (Ozzy)
The puppies’ father is Ozzy from @ Daydreams Doodles – clever, calm, handsome and with a wonderful temperament.
The humans say we’re the perfect match.
The scan seems to agree.
LIFE WITH MY HUMAN MAMA
My human mama originally comes from London, so I’ve grown up experiencing both countryside adventures and city life.
I’ve walked Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath, passed Paddington Bear’s screen-set home, travelled on trains, buses, escalators and elevators, and stayed in lovely hotels and cosy B&Bs.
Apparently I navigated it all beautifully.
Wherever we go I meet fascinating humans – writers, actors, barristers, teachers, shopkeepers and many other wonderful characters.
My human mama says that’s why I’m such a confident, friendly and sociable doodle.
And I must say… I rather enjoy it.
A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT ME
I absolutely love squeaky toys.
In fact, if it squeaks… I will find it.
And my greatest joy in life?
A ball.
Throw it once and I’ll bring it back.
Throw it twice and I’ll bring it back faster.
Throw it three times and we are now officially best friends.
My human mama says I could happily play fetch across the Yorkshire fells all day long.
So… future families should be prepared for some enthusiastic ball throwing
OUR VET TEAM
We are looked after by the wonderful team at Thirsk Veterinary Centre, including Julian and lovely Sue @ reception!.
Before leaving for their new homes, each puppy will receive a full veterinary health check with Julian to ensure they are happy, healthy and ready to begin their next adventure.
All health (DNA testing) documentation will be available to view when families visit and again at the time of collection.
HOW MY PUPPIES ARE RAISED
My puppies will be raised right in our home, surrounded by everyday life, love and lots of cuddles.
They will be brought up on a high quality raw diet using trusted companies that source excellent ingredients and are conscious about sustainability and caring for our planet.
My human mama believes healthy puppies start with proper nutrition, ethical sourcing and thoughtful care.
The puppies will receive:
• Early socialisation
• Careful handling
• Lots of love and human interaction
• Guidance from wise Mama Bear Bailey
Australian Labradoodles are widely known for being hypoallergenic and allergy friendly, making them wonderful companions for many families.
FINDING THE RIGHT FAMILIES
This part is very important to my human mama.
These puppies are NOT first come first served.
My human mama believes every puppy deserves the right home, not simply the fastest enquiry.
Visits will take place when puppies are around 4–5 weeks old when they are walking, playing and beginning to show their personalities.
Some puppies will be adventurous.
Some calm and thoughtful.
Some curious little explorers.
Rather than choosing purely by colour or appearance, my human mama carefully matches each puppy with the family whose lifestyle suits them best.
My human mama will also ask quite a few questions — she likes to understand the home, routine and lifestyle each puppy will be joining.
Because the goal is simple:
Happy dogs and happy families for life.
VISITS
Visits to meet me, my puppies and Mama Bear Bailey are arranged by prior appointment once puppies are around 4–5 weeks old and beginning to show their personalities.
This allows families to interact with the puppies in a relaxed and joyful way while helping my human mama begin matching each puppy with the most suitable home.
