Male lurcher lucky.
Lucky is as lucky has he sounds. We whitnessed him get abandoned by previous ‘owners’ infield where we picked him up and took him to the vets where he had a health check. He was checked over and not claimed so we decided to take him into our home.
He’s showing obvious signed of abuse (he’s ribs have been broken before, he cowers occasionally when stroked, a massive fear of cages, all around very cautious) however temperament is lovely! He wasn’t house trained nor did he know what toys were and he would also hide any food you have to him these are things that have been worked on. Now for the honesty part, he has serve anxiety and I can’t blame him however he is completely tearing up my house (he’s tearing up flooring, chucks off the back door, 2x dog crates) and we rent therefore can’t afford to keep this up. He would thrive being with another dog or alternately someone who is home more or can send him to doggy day care.
He’s an absolute joy to have around and still has that puppy play in him! He’s also absolutely lovely with my two year old so has no problem around children. This isn’t a choice that’s been made lightly given his past and how much we all love him but I simply do not have another option.
I would like updates where we can as my son would still love to see how his friend is getting on! He can com with all of the toys I have and food, leads, treats etc.
