Through absolutely no fault of his own, we’re looking for a wonderful new home for our gorgeous boy Murphy. Murphy is a standard Dachshund, born 5th November 2025. He is an incredibly loving, affectionate and playful young boy with loads of personality. He absolutely loves cuddles and being close to his people, but equally loves playing and having fun. Murphy has been brought up around children of all ages as well as other dogs, so he’s used to being part of a busy family environment. He’s also a really bright boy who enjoys learning. He already knows a series of tricks and commands, including sit, lie down and spin, and we’re sure he could learn plenty more with someone who has the time to continue his training. The reason we’re making this incredibly difficult decision is simply that Murphy needs more time, attention and stimulation than we’re currently able to give him due to our work commitments. We feel he deserves a home where someone can dedicate that extra time to him and where he can really thrive. This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly, and finding the right home is far more important than finding one quickly. Ideally, we’d love someone who understands Dachshunds and has plenty of time to give him the attention, exercise, companionship and continued training he needs. Murphy is fully up to date with his vaccinations and is microchipped. His microchip details will of course be transferred to his new owner. Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
